Lymphoid nodular hyperplasia
Lesion: Six-year-old boy with recurrent
ileocolonic intussusceptions. Intra -operative ileoscopy revealed highly enlarged (> 4 mm) lymphoid follicles with multiple petechiae in the terminal ileum.
Four week treatment with oral prednisone was successful with complete resolution of lymphoid nodular hyperplasia and recurrent abdominal pain.
